Baby Godzilla

So we are now much closer to finally having our gigantic baby (as of today's ultrasound the estimated weight is 8 lbs 9 oz.) While we didn't get what we were looking for today, which was some clarity on what the doctors are going to do about our gigantic baby. We did get to see the baby one more time via ultrasound.

I think that the misses and I are both now fully trained ultrasound technicians. Seeing as we have done around 6 or 7 ultrasounds this baby alone.

I am finally starting to wrap my head around the fact that our family of 3 plus dog, gecko, fish is going to be a family of 4 plus zoo. I am pretty excited about it. I remember how fun Trevor was as a baby. He was first of all darn cute, the gigantic cheeks seen on the ultrasound point to Baby Zilla being cute as well. I also remembered how Trevor became my confidant. Babies are great people to vent to, the listen very well, and never tell anyone what you say. Since I am someone that constantly is playing out conversations in my head, a baby gives me someone to run them by.

I also look forward to her growing up. As much as kids can be a pain, drive you to gain weight and lose your hair. I loved every minute of watching Trevor grow up. I still choke up almost every day that I get him on the bus. I can't believe that he rides a bus, or is in school, or likes girls, or has a basic understanding of the current election (I still remember when asked who the president was he would say the white monkey in the white house). I can't wait until Trevor is a big brother, he has so many things to teach Baby Zilla.

I look forward to what having another girl in my life brings. Growing up I had my mom, then I was married and I had the misses. I never have had to deal with more than one female on a regular basis. I welcome the challenge with all that it brings.

I think I am finally ready for the baby to come, and it appears it is just in time. (Did I ever mention I went to High School with Justin Time?)
