So, Avatar was awesome. I haven't been this excited to see a movie in a long time, and I was happy Avatar delivered. This is definitely a movie I recommend you see in the theatre, and in 3D. I imagine that this movie loses something from 3D to 2D, and a lot from the big screen to the small screen.
I would go on, but I fear I would get spoilerish, so I am going to stop.

The movie is awesome. As crazy as it is to say, the movie has a lot of layers. Commentary on how the world is today, and how we as a country did things in the past.
It is a visually stunning film. I am guessing most of the movie is computer enhanced, but it is very hard to tell.
The 3D wasn't all in your face. It was their to help make you feel like part of their world.
It's almost three hours, and I would pay to see it again.
